The Canucks came back to after being down 2-0, to tie up the game with goals from Burrows and Demitra. CBJ then went ahead 3-2 and with just over 5 minutes left in the game Kyle Wellwood get's a goal to tie up the game. Hooray for Wellwood, but that's probably his 1 goal per month quota, so don't expect to see anything out of him until April. Ehrhoff ended the game in OT jumping up on the play and firing a wrist shot.

The Canucks came back with a lucky win here, maybe it's because the Blue Jackets played like sh-t. It goes to show you bad CBJ is when they can't beat the Canucks even with a lead in the game and with Raycroft in net. It was sorta disappointing watching regular hockey after you've just seen the Olympics, realizing that instead of Shea Weber on your D, you have Aaron Rome.

Brad Lukowich was put on waivers today for 'salary cap reasons', which means the Canucks may be clearing space for tomorrows trade deadline or if didn't acquire someone, they are saving pennies for the game that he was going to be a healthy scratch for.

With still no word on what Willie Mitchell's time frame back to the ice is or if he will be out for the rest of the season, will the Canucks try to acquire Dan Hamhuis from the Predators? He's a UFA on July 1st and could be a top 4 defenceman for the Canucks. More importantly, with Bieksa skating, that would mean a reduction in the minutes for Aaron Rome and right now Rome getting any minutes is what concerns me.

The Canucks are back playing tomorow night against Detroit. Oh and in case you've been living under a rock, it's trade deadline day tomorrow, live blogging over at the 6th Sens
